NEW YORK (Aug 19, 2008), BUSINESS WIRE — About.com (www.about.com), one of the 15 most-visited Web sites in the United States, has named Frank Minishak, vice president of sales, Eastern region.
Mr. Minishak brings more than 20 years of professional advertising sales experience to About.com. Most recently, he was the vice president, digital sales at Madison Square Garden, where he established MSG Media’s first digital sales division. Before working there, Mr. Minishak was a regional sales director for AOL, where he managed a team of sales and support staff and maintained relationships with major ad agencies. Mr. Minishak has also held sales management positions at Juno Online Services, LP and Rodale Press, Inc.
In his new role, Mr. Minishak will report to Sheryl Goldstein, senior vice president, sales. His primary responsibilities will include overseeing, managing and providing strategic support to the Eastern region sales and client services teams.
